McAlpine Graphics is a family business run by Gary & Joanne McAlpine. We met in the 80's when studying Graphic Design and Illustration at Glasgow College of Building & Printing.
After 10 years of working for established design & marketing companies in West Central Scotland, we made the big step into self employment. We've been providing clients with creative and cost-effective design services for over 20 years bringing an innovative approach to every project whether it's a poster, logo design, company brochure or website.
The process starts with us getting to know about your business or organisation and crucially your target market or audience. This enables us to deliver creative, unique and appropriate design solutions inkeeping with your aims and objectives.
Gary is the main contact for all your design needs. He's also the web guy and project manager ensuring every project runs smoothly, within agreed timescales and on budget.
Joanne specialises in corporate identity creation and design for print whilst offering creative input into all print & web based projects.

In addition to our graphic design work, we enjoy the contrast and health benefits of working outdoors. A few years ago we moved to a beautiful rural location in Stirlingshire to establish our family farm. We specialise in growing chillies, herbs and apples and produce a range of unique artisan food products under the brand name FORAGERS. The farm orchard was planted in 2015 and we are now supplying our CRAFT CIDER to several local outlets.
Joanne has brought together her love of railways, old maps and graphic art into a new series of posters charting the old rail networks and stations across Scotland. Her work is available to buy online at LOST RAILWAYS POSTERS.
We have also created a website displaying the work of Joanne's father, Wallace Cuthbertson. Throughout his life Wallace sailed extensively around Scotland's west coast and has amassed a large catalogue of charming Watercolour sketches featured on a series of notelets and prints for sale on WATERCOLOURSCOTLAND.co.uk.
